Nashoba Youth Field Hockey (NYFH) is a developmental program based on the USA Field Hockey initiative to expand the game to youth players. NYFH is a community based team that serves the Nashoba Regional School District (NRSD). NYFH values experience coaches and collegiate players who have a passion in sharing their time, knowledge and love for the game. We are open to others who have an interest in growing the game of field hockey in our area. Below are current opportunites for this Fall 2023.
NYFH is currently seeking a field hockey coach or/and experieced college FH player for the Fall 2023 Season.
Middle School Head and Assistant Coach: Season is Sept 1st to End of October. Practices at 3:30 until 5 at Florence Sawyer School in Bolton, Monday to Thursday. Games are played at 3:30 during the week.
Developmental Program: Coaches (Grade 2&3 and Grade 4&5)
Season: Sept. 1st to Oct. 31st. Practices are Monday and Thursday, 5:15-6:15 pm at Derby Field, behind Florence Sawyer School 100 Mechanic Street, Bolton. Sunday morning games.
Position is responsible for teaching step by step field hockey techniques and skills in a fun, educational and safe environment. Candidates need to be capable of developing basic skills and game intelligence through modified mini game situations.
Assist in conducting practices and instructing players in games.
This is a stipend position.
Practices and home games will be held at Derby Field, behind Florence Sawyer School 100 Mechanic Street, Bolton
